Today, I wanted to share these great few truths: The power of Creating Space.

Please listen!  The Power of Creating Space!  Especially, to all the participants who have gathered for Kalpataru in Haridwar and in Charlotte.....Haridwar and in Charlotte who have gathered for Kalpataru Darshan.....and Island Creek-North Carolina, both.

Please listen!  Listen!  Never make a decision when you are sad.  Never make a commitment when you are happy.  Listen!  No....you need to know!  This is the Science of Space!  The happiness you feel always brings powerfulness....the power.  Whenever you have power, powerful, parts of you itself cannot tolerate you being so powerful!  So it conspires, plans against you to somehow put you in powerlessness.  What is the best way to put you in powerlessness?  Make you commit into something.  Push you to commit into something.  So, whenever you are happy, don’t commit.  Keep this as an instruction from the Science of Space, understand?  Whenever you are sad, don’t make decisions.  Only when you are in the space of Completion, make commitment or make decision.  So, before every time you are going to make commitments or decision, bring yourself to the space of Completion – please listen – bring yourself to the space of Completion.   

See, sometimes you feel happy; you show happiness just to even avoid your powerlessness inside.  I am explaining your own struggles to keep yourself happy, and your own failures, how you fall into powerlessness.  You need to understand.  Every one of you try to keep you happy, but you don’t plan to grow the happiness in you.  You want rice, wheat, all the grains, but you don’t want to do agriculture!  You want rice, grain, wheat, all the best things, but you don’t want to do agriculture!  All of you want joy, happiness – please listen – but instead of growing it out of Completion space, from the space of Completion, you try to get it..........

I will request every one of you to bear with this interruption.  A senior Mahamandaleshwar from Juna Akhada, Arjun Puri Maharaj is coming.  We will receive him and then we will continue the satsangh.

Yes....I just wanted to offer our respects to Maharaj Shri Shri 1008 Mahamandaleshwar of Juna Akhada, Shri Arjun Puri Maharaj.  You all need to know, Swamiji is the senior-most Mahamandaleshwar in this whole Pancha Puri, Haridwar-Rishikesh.  Swamiji is one of the important sadhus of Hinduism.  And Swamiji just walked in to be with us!  We thank Swamiji for coming and blessing us and gracing us.  It is so nice to see him. 

I am really happy, and I wanted all our devotees and satsanghis to be complete.  Don’t think that satsangh has been interrupted.  You don’t know what a blessing it is when these great sants, Mahatmas, walk in just to be with us and spend time and bless us! 

And Swamiji didn’t even bother about any protocol and all that.  Usually, among the sants, the way they are received with protocol and all that.....everything is co-ordinated.  Swamiji just said, ‘I will spend a little time with you all.’ 

He is Head of the largest temple in Haridwar, the Tulsi Manas Mandir.  Swamiji is Head of the temple.  And he has a great Guru Parampara (lineage of Gurus).  And he has done amazing contributions to Hinduism.  And I can go on expanding Swamiji’s contribution and how much he has contributed and sacrificed for Hinduism! 

Swamiji has built a huge Rama Temple on the banks of the Ganga.  Just on the way you can see.  Not only he has a great Guru Parampara and Sampradaya (tradition), he himself has also contributed to Hinduism. 

I would like to request Swamiji to bless us, and then I will continue the satsangh. 

I also wanted to take this moment to sincerely welcome Swamiji.  And I also apologize to Swamiji....I think we are not completely prepared.....and if we miss the honour and respect supposed to be given to Swamiji, we sincerely apologize.  And we sincerely thank him for his presence.  And we are grateful to Swamiji for his presence.

Respected, world-renowned Mahamandaleshwar Swami Nithyananda Maharaj, and devotees who have come from India and abroad, I welcome you to Haridwar.

(Our Swamiji, Paramahamsa Nithyanda explains: Swamiji is welcoming all of us to Haridwar.  Actually Swamiji is the face of Haridwar!  He is the most senior Mahamandaleshwar who resides in Haridwar.)

Swami Arjun Puri continues his address which is translated by Turiya Swami:

Haridwar is a Kumbh Nagari (City of Kumbh Mela).  The beginning of Kumbh happened here.  Haridwar is a city on the banks of the Ganga.  This is a great Tapo Bhoomi (Land of Penance and Sadhana).  Ever part of this land is blessed and divine – Gangotri, Badrinath, Kedarnath, Yamunotri.  This is the land of Shiva.  Shiva resides here.  The Himalayas are here.  And this is a blessed land. 

This is the land of Lord Shiva.  Lord Vishnu also resides here as Badrinarayan.  And this is the land of the birth of Ganga.  The Ganga River is the very essence of India.  Without Ganga, Indian culture and heritage cannot be imagined.

This is Haridwar.  “Hari” means Vishnu, Narayan.  And “dwar” means gateway.  This is the “Gateway of God”.  “Hari” means God, and “dwar” means gate.  So, “Haridwar” literally means “The Gateway of God”.

In this sacred land, Swamiji (Nithyananda) by inviting all of you to this great, blessed land, has given a great blessing to all of you.

Swamiji is a very great Mahamandaleshwar of our Mahanirvani Akhada.  He is a great Guru.  You are really blessed to have the satsangh of Swamiji in this program. 

I am also very happy that such a real saint as Swamiji has come to this Pancha Puri land, Haridwar, and started his sadhana here, got the program here in this blessed land.  I am very happy to see all of you here, and Swamiji here.

The goal of human life is to achieve “Moksha” – liberation.  Many people think that once you leave the body (once you die), you are given Moksha (liberated).  But what happens after you leave the body nobody knows!  So, the best way to achieve Moksha, liberation, is to achieve it when you are alive and in the body.

Tulsidas (a great saint of India who wrote the “Ramcharitmanas”) says in the Ramayana that Moksha is the goal of life....and Moksha happens only with knowledge....and knowledge can happen only with a Sadguru.  Without Guru, it is not possible to get knowledge at all.  For everything, for learning everything, whether it be a simple science or great science, you need a Guru.  All of you are very fortunate that Nithyananda Swamiji is your spiritual guru. So, all of you are very lucky. 

Swamiji started his spiritual journey at a young age.  From a very young age Swamiji has been doing tapas, sadhana.  And he way he is blessing us all in India and blessing all around the world, it is really great!

Sant Tulsidas says, unless you have a strong body, you cannot attain knowledge.  So, to attain knowledge, you have to keep your body very strong and healthy.  And to keep your body strong and healthy, you have to practice Yoga.  If the body is healthy, your mind and intelligence, both will be healthy.  And if your mind is healthy, you will have concentration in spiritual practices and the words of the Guru.  So, you HAVE to keep your body healthy. 

Today, the whole world is standing at the brink of war.  There is so much chaos. Everybody is looking for peace.  But how this peace can happen?  It can happen only through knowledge and the satsangh of the Guru.  Everybody is searching for peace and knowledge; but this can happen only through the Sadguru.

When you join a University, immediately you can’t expect to get a degree.  You have to go through the classes, years of training and studies, and only at the culmination of the course you are awarded a degree.  Same way, when you start your spiritual practice, when you do your sadhana, do not expect results in a day or two.  You will have to continuously do sadhana; only then you will get results.  And, if the teacher is good, the journey will be easier, faster.  You are fortunate, you have a great teacher.  You are fortunate you have a great Guru like Nithyananda Swamiji to guide you in your sadhana.

I pray to the Lord for all of you, that all of you achieve your spiritual success.  You have come to the right place, to Paramahamsa Nithyananda.  One thing I want to tell you: DON’T CHANGE YOUR GURU AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN!  You have come to the right place; so DON’T LEAVE THIS PLACE!

I pray to God that all of you achieve your spiritual success at the earliest.

Everybody wants happiness and bliss.  But how to get it and what is the sign of somebody who is really happy and blissful?  The sign of somebody who is really happy and blissful is, he will always have an everlasting smile on his face!  Swamiji Nithyanandaji has always a smile on his face!

Swamiji Nithyanandaji is like my younger brother.  Swamiji has become a Mahamandaleshwar.  I have been a Mahamandaleshwar for the last thirty-two years.  So, I am very happy that our community (community of saints, Sant Samaj) has such a great “Navaratna” like Swamiji Nithyanandaji as Mahamandaleshwar! (Navaratna = nine precious gems extolled in Indian tradition).  I travel all across the world.  Wherever I go, I get to hear Swamiji Nithyanandaji’s name everywhere!

The place where I stay, that road is Sapta Sarovar Road (Sapta Sarovar = Seven Lakes).  Seven Rishis stayed there.  When the river Ganga descended from the Himalayas, she travelled very aggressively, fast and furiously to Haridwar.  And when she reached Haridwar, she split into streams, and then only she got rest.  How she got rest, I will tell you.

When Ganga came down to Haridwar and saw the Sapta Rishis (the seven rishis) meditating there, Ganga thought she should go around all the seven saints to pay her respects, and so she split into seven different streams.  So, obviously, when she split into seven streams, her speed came down.  So, after coming down from Gangotri, Ganga got rest in Haridwar.  So, this place is called Sapta Sarovar. 

On the same Sapta Sarovar Marg (Marg = Road), the area where Gangaji got rest, I have a temple called “Tulsi Manas Mandir” (Mandir = Temple).  This temple has amazing architecture.  And I want to invite Swamiji and all of you there.  Whenever you get time, whenever you can take some time off, please come and visit us.  I am sure, just like how Ganga got rest in Sapta Sarovar, same way all of you devotees also will get rest here.

Thanks Swamiji! 

All of you should know, Swamiji (Arjun Puri ji) is not only an elder brother for me, he is an elder brother for so many of the Gurus here!  In Haridwar, in any spiritual function, he is given first preference!  I can actually go on appreciating and speaking about Swamiji’s glory for hours!  He is the most respected, senior-most spiritually venerated and revered Mahamandaleshwar.  As I said, he is the face of Haridwar! 

We are so happy, Swamiji just walked in!  So sweet and so nice of him!  He just walked in to spend time with us!  He just came in to spend time with us!  I am very happy to have Swamiji here, to host Swamiji here.  See, it is like when you become a teacher and start teaching your first class, suddenly your Principal walks into the class-room and sits!  I can say that is exactly the feeling I have!  When your Principal walks into the class-room to see what are you doing, what are you teaching, that is exactly how I feel!  I am very happy Swamiji walked in to bless all of us, to grace all of us in such a simple way!

Even the other day, if you had come to the Bhandara (spiritual feast offering free food) with me, you would have seen Swamiji (Arjun Puri Maharaj) was the first to be respected.  The whole Sadhu Samaj (Society/Community of Sadhus and Saints) respects Swamiji.  Swamiji says he got me as a “Navaratna” (one of the precious, fabled nine gems of Indian tradition); but, I say, he is the Crown!  He is the Crown on which all the Navaratnas have to sit!  He is the Crown! 

I am so happy Swamiji is here to bless us all, to grace us all today.  And I am feeling overwhelmed, feeling so joyful that I am accepted by the Sant Samaj of Haridwar.  I can say, these are all the happy moments for me and our Sangha!

So, now, the Swamis (our Nithyananda Order Swamis) will guide you into the Kalpataru process in Charlotte and in Haridwar.  Please go through the Kalpataru process.  I will just host Swamiji (Arjun Puri ji Maharaj) and come back to give you Kalpataru Darshan.  We will get back for Kalpataru Darshan.  Let us be here for the next session.  Thank you!

I welcome all the devotees, disciples, samajis, satsanghis, and Shri Shri 1008 Shri Mahamandaleshwar of Mahanirvani Akhada, Shri Swami Vishveshwaranand Giri ji Maharaj. 

Swamiji is the eleventh Mahamandaleshwar in the lineage of Sanyas Ashram Giris.  Sannyas Ashram is headquartered in Mumbai. 

And he is also the President of the Suratgiri Bangla, Haridwar.  He belongs to the Mahanirvani Akhada.  And Suratgiri has a beautiful temple where Shankar Baba lives.  All of you know about Shankar Baba.  You don’t need any introduction.  All of you know the story.  And it is in Swami’s ashram the Shankar Baba Temple is there, and Shankar Baba lives.  That is a beautiful place.  Because all of you know, I don’t want to elaborate on Shankar Baba. 

All of you may be aware that when I was doing tapas here in 1995, Shiva himself came as a sannyasi and gave me food and medicine when I was not feeling well.  He was wearing a certain xxxxx (pen? pin?) which normally sadhus don’t use.  And he told me his address.  And I went there and saw, I found he is Mahadeva!  He was wearing the same xxxxxx (pen/pin?).  And he also told me his name is Shankar Baba.  And Shankar Baba is in Swamiji’s ashram (Suratgiri Bangla)!  Anyway, Swamiji’s ashram is my Guru Gaddhi (Guru’s Seat), because Mahadeva lives there. 

And Swamiji has a beautiful, great Guru Parampara, amazing sadhus and unimaginable Mahatmas.  The whole place reverberates with so much of spiritual energy! 

And Swamiji has also expanded the organization so much and he has many branches now.  And he is doing a lot of good work by spreading Hinduism and Vedanta, and created spiritual activities and religious activities. 

I welcome Swamiji for today’s morning satsangh for coming here and gracing us.

We are very lucky we are standing in the (vicinity of the) Ganges River, the holy river in Haridwar, we are sitting here with Mahamandaleshwar Swami Nithyananda ji Maharaj.  We have very beautiful paramparas.  We have tradition of Sanatana Dharma.  We are so lucky we can find something – what you say as “Soul”, “Atman”.  Therefore, all of you here and everywhere in the world listening and watching to Maharaj ji, we have a very good tradition. 

Maharaj Nithyananda ji met me two years ago in the Suratgiri Bangla.  I got the message that some great saint has come here and he wants to meet me.  I was sitting in my gaddhi (seat).  Swamiji came with a big group of bhaktas, devotees.  (audio went mute at this point.......)

HERE, VISHVESHWARANAND GIRI JI MAHARAJ NARRATES THE STORY OF HOW SWAMIJI (PARAMAHAMSA NITHYANANDA) MET SHANKAR BABA...........

Swamiji, always he was travelling alone.  So, the story is, he was not well in Haridwar.  He told me, ‘I was alone travelling in the Himalayas....’.  And, after that, he came to Haridwar.  But his body was not good.  He had some problems.....diarrhoea.  He had diarrhoea.  And he could not get up and go for bhiksha (for alms).  And some Mahatma (great soul/sadhu) came there.  He gave some food, gave some prasadam to Maharaj Nithyananda ji.  After a few days, two or three days, Nithyananda ji Maharaj was searching for that Mahatma, ‘Where is that Mahatma?’  (audio went mute again at this point......) 

There were so many Mahatmas in Haridwar.  Nobody could tell where this Mahatma was.  They said they never saw any such person.  Still Nithyananda ji was searching for him, ‘Who was that Mahatma?’

And, I think, Swamiji told me this Mahatma’s name was Shankar Baba.  He gave his address also.  It was Suratgiri Bangla.  So Swamiji was searching, searching, and he went to Suratgiri Bangla. 

Suratgiri Bangla is a beautiful place.  Not just beautiful.....it is a very powerful space!  So many Mahatmas have lived there.  And so many Mahatmas they did tapasya (penance/sadhana) in that place. 

There is a story about this place:  Long ago, more than hundred years ago, someone went there and he put the children in one corner.  And some Mahatmas were staying in the other corner.  When they grew up and they went up there in the jungle, that is Suratgiri Bangla :D .  And there were so many Mahatmas staying.....more than hundred Mahatmas were staying there in the Kutiyas (huts/cottages).  And that is the place, Suratgiri Bangla.  :D

Swamiji told me, ‘I came here and I saw the same Kamandalu (water pot used by sannyasis) was there, same plate was there in the temple, same xxxxx (pin?) was there on the deity of Shiva!’  So he saw this is Shankar....this Shankar Baba!  Same cloth! 

So, who can find this one?  One who has a clear heart! 

Who has darshan of that god?  Swayam Shankara! (Shankara himself)

So, he (Swamiji) told me that story. 

We know each other since last few years.  We are by body....by physical body we know each other since two years.  We have contact, we have relations since so many years....so many years!  Because, body is coming and going – birth and death!  But, the Soul, Atman is continuously travelling!  We are trying to find where is God, what is our Self.  So, he (Swamiji) was also searching.  And he searched....and he found!  Because, now he is doing some work for this Earth, this universe.

In the universe, many people, they do not know what is our actual destination.  What we have to do, what we are doing, they do not know!  They just know that, ‘We are born in some family, some caste, somewhere.’  They do not know what we are.  What is Brahman?  Who controls all this universe or the Brahmaand (macrocosm)?  And we are still searching for it. 

Swamiji, just he is not a sannyasi or Mahatma just in this birth!  He is travelling continuously, doing sadhana.  Since a long time he is doing this sadhana.  And now, this time, he has some duty.  What is the duty?  He has everything (that one could wish for)!  He has everything!  But still he has one duty.  That is to help the common-man, the human-beings, find themselves.  Therefore, he is travelling all over India, all over the world, and he is giving the message – ‘Who are you?  What is your duty?  What you have to do?’ – all over India, all over the world. 

And just like the common-man, these saints they have so many hurdles, because in this world, in this universe, two types of beings are there: one called “devas” (gods), and one called “rakshasas” (demons).  Demons, Devatas!  So, sometimes he gets some problems (from the demons).  But inside he is clean.  Inside there is no ignorance.  He is still always giving you his smile (in spite of all the obstacles created in his path by the demons)!  Never has he got disturbed!  Just you watch him every time and see for yourself.  I am watching him every time: Always he is happy!  Always he is happy! 

When I saw him in the Kumbh Mela, and before that, always he was talking about satsangh, about Vedanta, about yourself.  Because he considers it his duty!  Our duty!  But he has a big duty!  We are also doing satsangh in our ashram, but it is not so easy.  He is coming from Bangalore main ashram (Bidadi) to Haridwar and staying here for a long time.  I am also here from 1^st March till today.  But he will stay here till 31^st March.  He has many, many ashrams.  I am watching here (on two-way video-conferencing) many ashrams all over the world!  He is giving message very day to them.  You continue this tradition.  Because this tradition is very valuable!  This tradition is really what we are!  So, therefore, Swamiji is doing his work as so many sages did this work.  Since beginning of this Earth, beginning of this universe, we are doing (this work) in the Guru Parampara.

has Adi Shankaracharya in the middle,

This long Guru Parampara!  In this long Guru Parampara, we are attached directly with God, directly with Brahman, because this knowledge started from Sadashiva, Bhagawan Shankara, Bhagawan Narayana, and came, just like the Ganga coming from Gangotri and still going on, going on, going on, and not getting disconnected.  Continuously the Ganga is flowing to the Ocean.  In the same way, our knowledge has started from Brahman who is the Creator, Preserver and Destroyer.  That is Brahman!  So, this knowledge is coming from there.  And that same knowledge we gave through lectures to others.

My guruji was a great saint.  His guruji was a great thinker.  He wrote many books on Sanatana Dharma, Hinduism.  And he was a great scholar of Vedanta.  His guruji was also there.  So, it is a long tradition up to Brahman, up to God!  So, same duty, Swami Nithyananda is doing now.  Mahamandaleshwar......now we can call him Mahamandaleshwar, because Sant Samaj, all saints we got together in the Kumbh Mela, and in the Kumbh Mela we gave this offer, presented this Mahamandaleshwar Path (title) to Swami Nithyanandaji.  He is now Mahamandaleshwar of Mahanirvani Akhada.  And you are so lucky you are in his satsangh and you are staying in this holy place in Haridwar, because Ganga is coming first time in this level in Haridwar.  This is where the Sapta Rishis (the seven ancient rishis) did tapasya.  So, really, you are so lucky you are in Haridwar; especially those who are physically in Haridwar; and who are watching from all over the world, they are also lucky. 

This is the message, holy message (that we have to contemplate upon): Who are you?  What you have to do?

So, this is a great time, great pleasure, and with the great grace of Guru Parampara, Brahman, God, we are getting something pure in Haridwar.  So I am also very thankful. 

Yesterday we met in the Bhandara.  So, Swamiji told me, ‘How long are you here in Haridwar?’ 

I told, ‘I am leaving from Haridwar on the 15^th’, that is tomorrow. 

So, he told me, ‘Swamiji, please come tomorrow here.’ 

I accepted.  Not accepted....it was my duty!  Because, he is not just my friend, he is in our Parampara!  I didn’t know at that time when he came to our ashram.  Since that, he believes that this is his Gurusthan (seat of the Guru).  He always says, ‘This is my second Gurusthan”.  Second.  First is in Kolkata; and next, here, in Haridwar.  He is going higher and higher.  So, I am very thankful to Swamiji. 

And also sometimes I am travelling in the western countries.  So, last time also Swamiji told me, ‘Will you go to my University in Los Angeles?’  This year we have one programme in Bombay, and I will invite Swamiji.  Please you visit our ashram in Kankhal with all of you (all the devotees).  If you have time in the future, you can do program in Bombay.  It is a good ashram.  There also we have a big temple; main, Shivji’s temple. So many temples we have there, but main temple is Shivji’s temple.  And the name of that is Kashi Vishwanath Mahadev.  On one side, we have Adi Shankaracharya, on the other side is Lakshmi Narayan.  We have a big hall.  And it is in about two-and-a-half acres land, in maidan ground.  So I request you, I give my invitation, please you come to Bombay also.  And we have about twelve other ashrams – five we have in Gujarat, one in Madhya Pradesh, one in other place, Varanasi.

So, Swamiji is now Mahamandaleshwar.  Also, Swamiji is part of our ashram.  

So, we have to find out: What we are?  What I am?  So, therefore, this Sanatana Dharma gives many messages – Dharma, Artha, Kama, Moksha. We have great opportunities.  We can join that dharma.  We can earn money – Artha.  Kama.  We can get so many things in the world.  And, finally, we can find Moksha (liberation).  So, every human-being went that way.  So, we are also going the same way. 

So, now, Swamiji will give some message, blessings to you all over the world.  So, thank you very much.

........original state whether you or God feels the pure “I”.  Without “you” or “they” or “me”, it is a pure “I”.  The “I” becomes “we” when the incompletion is added to it.  Listen! When you have an incompletion to be fulfilled, that becomes the reason for making you feel you are multiple, something else other than you also exists.  When the “I” becomes “we” because of the incompletions inserted, it is hell!  So, in every step, the incompletion goes on, goes on, goes on adding more and more incompletion.

Yesterday, I was telling you that, as simple as Rossogolla (an Indian sweet delicacy) or as complicated as extra-marital relationship, if it brings powerlessness to you, it will bring Karma to you.  As complicated as extra-marital relationship, as simple as Rossogolla, if it does not bring powerlessness to you, it will only bring more and more glory to you.  It will only reach you to more and more fulfilment.  I am not saying start having extra-marital relationships!  No!  Because, this Marxist media is waiting to interpret me like that only!  I am not telling you to start having extra-marital relationship! No! Actually, these subjects like extra-marital relationship, people neither listen if somebody says ‘Don’t have...”, nor listen if somebody says, ‘Go and have....’!  These are all internal complications.  Listen!  Listen!  But as a spiritual, enlightened being and an incarnation, I am talking only from the spiritual angle. 

Listen!  Anything if it does not bring powerlessness to you, it will not bring Karma.  It can be as complicated as going for a war, or as simple as chewing a pan (betel leaf), as complicated as killing millions in the war, or as simple as chewing a pan.  It can be anything, but it will not bring Karma to you if it does not bring powerlessness to you. 

See, “I”, when it experiences itself as “we” due to the pure Completion and creation, that is what is called the “Jagat Janana”.  The pure substance of the Existence, Shiva, out of creativity, joy, powerfulness, completion, becomes Devi and starts celebrating his own existence. 

Please listen, if you understand, understand; otherwise watch the re-telecast (of this satsangh).  If you watch two-three times, you will understand.  I am talking about Hindu macro cosmology and micro cosmology.     

Every day you can wake up like Mahadeva becoming Devi or as usual how you wake up; you have the freedom.  Finally it boils down to whether you wake up like Shiva becoming Devi, or you becoming your personality, depends on the strength of Completion in you....strength of Completion in you....strength of Completion in you.  You can see the difference; when Mahadeva becomes Prakriti it is so beautiful! 

Even the wild river, sometimes it becomes a flood and swallows thousands of lives.  It is only flowing gracefully with its own existence.  Only when you try to go and harass and step into its way, it has to swallow you.  But, see, we human-beings, because out of incompletion, the “I” became “we” in us, we go on destroying everything.  When man was naked, nirvani, the earth was clothed.  When we became clothed, the earth has become naked!  See, so much of dirty interference with macrocosm and the macrocosmic movements! 

All of you should know, a few days before I was reading an article.  The huge hydro project which China is doing, the massive dam project, is going to reduce the speed of the earth’s rotation by 0.06 micro seconds!  Please understand, the earth’s rotation is going to be reduced, the speed is going to be reduced!  Such a massive amount of water is going to get accumulated in one place!  And now China is going to make our time more!  The time, by 0.06 micro seconds the day is going to be elongated!  Can you imagine?  It is completely disastrous!  I tell you, it should be stopped!  If not, it is not going to be a disaster just for that country, China!  That is all I can say!  As an incarnation, I am responsible at least to warn about the stupid things humanity is doing when I am in the body.  So I am warning: this level of interference with macrocosm is not right.  Even trying to artificially make the rain happen through chemicals is wrong.  We have a very well-established system, now fool-proof, time-tested: just call the bala sants of Nithyananda Order and make them do homa.  When they say, ‘Kaaley Varshathu Parjanyaha....’ (Let the monsoon be timely and plentiful....), that is all!  It just showers! 

Please understand, I am not just promoting my bala sants.  I am telling the truth!  I am telling you the truth!  It is not just bala sants I am promoting, I am putting the facts in front. 

Anyhow, the intereference with the cosmology happens because of our deep incompletions.  Bring powerful Completion into you.  Listen!  Bring powerful Completion into you.  And, I tell you, when you bring Completion into you, every day when you wake up it will be like a Shiva becoming the universe! 

A great disciple of Ramakrishna, Swami Brahmananda, he was considered as the spiritual son of Sri Ramakrishna, because Ramakrishna brought him up like his own child.  Brahmananda will all the time be sleeping in the lap of Ramakrishna.  He himself brought him up.  Brahmananda says very beautifully, ‘When you are in the space of Completion, everything, including the house you are staying in, the objects you are touching, everything radiates Completion!’ 

Yesterday we had a guest Swami, and a few devotees in Hyderabad were showing the Hyderabad temple.  The moment I saw the cobwebs and dust, the dirty way the whole temple is kept, the first thing I thought was I should ask all these people to sit and do Completion!  It is the incompletion they carried inside; that is why they don’t even look that Devi’s garbhamandir and mahamandapa has so much cobwebs and dirt! 

Sometimes I wonder, all the interference human-beings are doing to Nature, their incompletions are responsible.  The Hindu Sanatana Dharma, please listen, the Hindu Sanatana Dharma has to take the responsibility.  We may not be the reason, but we have to take the responsibility.  I cannot just stop with taking the responsibility for the calamity done to my Sangha or to me, I have to take the responsibility for the calamity caused to the whole Planet Earth! 

Please listen, I am repeating.  When the “I” becomes “we” out of incompletions added into it, it becomes karmic life.  When the “I” becomes “we” out of pure Completion and creativity, it becomes avataric life.  Whether your life is karmic life or avataric life, you diagnose, you decide.  And you can change from karmic life to avataric life.  You CAN change it from karmic life to avataric life!  So, start moving from pure Completion.  Move yourself to more and more Completion.    

A Sannyasi can miss eating, but he should not miss Yoga in the morning!  He can miss sleeping, but he should not miss Completion in the night!  I am not saying don’t eat, don’t sleep; but all I am saying is, the first priority, when the day starts, the first priority is Yoga; when the night starts, the first priority is Completion.  After Yoga have your food.  After Completion have your sleep.  Because, Yoga itself is an energy supply to your body!  Beyond Yoga and meditation if you need a little energy, let that be given through food.  Completion itself gives you the best possible rest.  Beyond that if you need any rest, just let a little sleep give you the rest. 

The first meal course for your body should be Yoga.  The first offering of restfulness to your body and your mind, should be Completion.  After that if you need food, you can have.  After that if you need sleep, you can have. 

I tell you, when you sincerely do Yoga, may be within two years when the 1,200 full-breath happens, long-breath happens in you, in the morning one hour or forty-five minutes, I guarantee, you will become Nirahari!  You will become Nirahari!  And same way, night, in the twenty-one minutes if the complete Completion happens, you will become Gudakesha, that’s all!  Yoga takes you beyond food, Completion takes you beyond sleep.  You will not be tired, you will not be sleepless.  I am not saying you will have insomnia!  No!  No!  You will go beyond sleep, you will conquer sleep!  Gudakesha!  Gudakesha!

Listen!  Soon I will make my bala sants Niraharis, Gudakeshas!  These Marxist blackmailing media fellows....there are a few fellows....one section they will start abusing us now in the name of ‘Oh, it is torturing of kids going on!  Human right is denied!’  They will start creating all this ruckus now!  I will start doing it beautifully now, completely under the protected ambience and safe atmosphere.  These Marxist fellows, they have killed ten crore Hindus by joining hands with other terrorist forces.  But if you do some Yoga practices, spiritual experiments, these fellow talk about human rights!  Come on!  Become humans first; then you can talk about human rights!  And the amount of child abuse that goes on in these so-called charitable institutions, no one cares about them, no one talks about them.  Just if my bala sants do puja, they say, ‘Oh, they are forced to do puja!’  Then what do you want them to do?

Listen, the secret is this: When the “I” becomes “we” out of Completion, when the “we” merges into the “I” out of Completion, you are an incarnation!  Yoga will make “I” becoming “we” out of Completion.  Completion will make “we” becoming “I” out of Completion.  Morning Yoga, you will see the “I” becomes “we” out of pure Completion.  Night Completion, you will see the “we” becomes “I” out of pure Completion.  Out of pure Completion when “I” becomes “we”, and “we” becomes “I”, your life is the life of an incarnation, Jeevan Muktha! 

When “I” becomes “we” out of incompletion, and “we” becomes “I” out of incompletion, then your life is karmic life. 

Understand, the power of Completion is, it does personality change.  The power of incompletion is, it does personality change.  Both have the power to change your personality.  Only you have to decide whether to change for good or for bad.  Completion leads to change for good.  Incompletion leads to change for bad.  

I will give the essence of today’s morning satsangh in Hindi.

Today I wanted to continue to expand on some of the truths of COMPLETION WITH OTHERS. 

Please understand, the Science of Completion with Others.  Yesterday I was expanding and I was explaining the necessity for Completion from the angle of social stability, from the angle of Hinduism, and as a spiritual truth.  Today I wanted to expand step-by-step how the Completion helps your spiritual growth.  Please understand, only when you understand how this Completion helps your spiritual growth step-by-step, inch-by-inch, you will be able to practice this as a spiritual practice. 

I wanted every gurukul kid, from now onwards I will not call my gurukul kids as “guruku lids”, I will start calling them as “Bala Sants”, “Bala Sannyasis”.  So, from today, I give you guys the title of Bala Sannyasis, Bala Sants.  So, all the students who are studying in our Gurukul, I call you guys as Bala Sants and Bala Sannyasis. 

Bala Sannyasis of our Gurukul, and Krama Brahmacharis, Naishtika Brahmacharis, and Sannyasis, and devotees, disciples, please understand, listen step-by-step how this Completion helps you, how this Completion leads you to be more and more in the powerful space.

One, how much ever I explain, if you do it you will understand the experience how the Completion makes you so joyful, powerful; you will understand that.  That is first.

Second, even philosophically you need to understand the power of Completion. 

Please listen!  Anything in the outer world which makes you powerless – it can be as simple as Gulab Jamun (an Indian sweet delicacy), as simple as a Gulab Jamun, or as complicated as an extra-marital affair; it can be as simple as a Gulab Jamun or as complicated as an extra-marital affair – anything which makes you powerless brings Karma.

I wanted to give a few minutes’ break.  And I wanted to welcome Swami Atmanandaji Maharaj who is a Mahamandaleshwar of Mahanirvani Akhada.  I wanted to take a few minutes to welcome him. 

We are honoured and delighted to have amongst us Mahamandaleshwar Swami Shri 1008 Atmanandaji Maharaj.  He is the Mahamandaleshwar of Mahanirvani Akhada, and he is also an Acharya.  Very few Mahamandaleshwars are Acharyas who have the capability of teaching.  He is also Head of the Swathaprakash Ashram.  Swamiji has Ashrams in Haridwar, Punjab and Gujarat-Ahmedabad, and he is continuously engaged in spiritual activities and teaching Hinduism and Sanatana Dharma and enriching people.  Today we are honoured to have Swamiji amongst us and we all welcome Swamiji for being here. 

On behalf of me and on behalf of Dhyanapeetam, I welcome Swamiji for gracing us.  And Swamiji is also, if I have to add one more line, personal touch, Swamiji strongly stood by us and supported us during the controversies, conflicts anywhere happened about us. 

And I request Swamiji to bless us and grace us.  Then I will continue with my satsangh.

SWAMI ATMANANDAJI MAHARAJ ADDRESSES THE GATHERING:

I have seen many of Swami Nithyanandaji’s programs in Kumbh Mela and on TV.  Today, in the whole world, there is a lot of disturbance, chaos, unrest.  Every individual desires that he should have peace of mind.  And Swami Nithyanandaji, for the welfare of the whole word, is striving to bring this peace.  That is a wonderful work that Swamiji is doing. 

We are all from the tradition of Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya.  Shankaracharya, in the Viveka Choodamani, says that, in the world there are three things which are very rare, which are very scarce, almost inaccesible.  The first is, Humanity. 

People say that there is a lot of humanity in the world.  But that is not correct, because they are referring to the number of human-beings.  Yes, in India, the population is too much.  We are seeing a lot of humans, but not humanity.  “Humans” is different, “humanity” is different.  Humanity is obtained only in the presence of Mahapurushas (great souls), only at the feet of Mahapurushas. 

The second thing which is rare, which is scarce in this world along with humanity, which is almost inaccessible is: Getting Moksha, Liberation. 

It is said that in the world – whether it is as per Indian philosophy or as per Western philosophy – there are only three important questions:

(1)    What is life?

(2)    What is this world?

(3)    Who created this world?   

These three questions. 

The first question is about us: Who are we?  Adi Shankaracharya says that we should constantly contemplate on this – From where have I come?  And why have I come?  Why did I get this human birth?

Listen, there is a reason for everything.  Nothing happens without a reason.  Any karma you do, any activity you do, is there a reason behind it or not?  For instance, all of you have come here to get spiritual knowledge, spiritual awakening.  That is the reason why you have come here to Swami Nithyanandaji.  You have not come here without any reason.  You have come here for one reason: spiritual knowledge/spiritual awakening.  So, like that, behind every action there is some reason for doing that action.  Without any reason there is nothing in the world.  If you laugh without any reason, what will people think?  They will think, ‘Hey, he has gone MAD!’  So, we have taken birth for some reason.  So, we should contemplate on why have we taken birth and what is the goal of our taking birth. 

Every individual has only one basic desire.  Not only human-beings, but also everything else in the world, the birds, animals, creatures, everything in the world desires only one basic thing: that it should get Happiness, Joy, Bliss - “Ananda”.  Every individual wants to get Happiness, Peace, Joy, Bliss.  Our gurus were so great; that is why in all our names they have put the suffix “Anand” (Bliss).  For example: Swami Atamanand, Swami Nithyanand, Swami Turiyanand.  All of you have come here to Swamiji Nithyananda for “ananda” only, is it not?  So, the “ananda”, the bliss that you desire, are you getting it in the outside material world?  Temporarily you may get from some objects of sense pleasure.  When you eat Rossogolla (an Indian Bengali sweet delicacy) or Idli-Dosa (a South Indian delicious snack), you may say, ‘Maharaj, I got a lot of satisfaction, joy, from eating this.’  But, this joy is only temporary, not long-lasting.  All of us are searching for happiness, joy, bliss, that is permanent, eternal, which remains forever with us.  That happiness, that joy, that bliss is called “PARAMATMA”!  That happiness, that joy, that bliss is called “ESHWAR” (God)! 

Sometime back, somebody asked me a question: ‘Maharaj, you are talking about God, but I don’t believe that there is somebody called God, I don’t believe that God exists!  I don’t believe that God created this world.  I believe that this world happened by itself, it happened naturally, that it is a natural phenomenon.’

I will narrate a story to answer this question: 

There was a very intelligent lawyer.  His wife was a very pious lady, very devoted to God.  Every day she used to worship God, pray to Him, do puja, etc. 

Her husband the “intelligent” lawyer, who was an atheist, used to ask her, ‘Why are you doing all this?  What do you get from this?’

She used to reply, ‘I get a lot of satisfaction, joy and peace of mind from doing this.  And we all should worship God, Eshwar.’

Her husband asks, ‘Who is this Eshwar?  Who is this God?’

She replies, ‘He is the one who created this world.’

The husband asks her, ‘Have you seen God?’

She says, ‘No, I have not seen Him.  But I have experienced Him!  When a baby is born, the mother’s blood is converted into milk to feed the baby.  Who does this?  It is God who does all this.’

The husband says, ‘There is no God or anything!’

The wife replies, ‘Okay.  That may be your opinion; but this is my opinion!’ 

This couple, the lawyer and his pious wife had a son.  When he grew up he imbibed the qualities of his mother, the pious, devoted lady, who believed in God.  Adi Shankaracharya says in the Brahmasutra, whatever qualities we have, some of it we bring from our previous birth; some qualities we get from our parents; but most of the qualities we get from our Sangha, the society in which we live.  That is why our elders advice us to always have “Sat Sangha”, the company of Mahapurushas, of saints and sadhus.  So, this boy got the qualities of his mother.  And he wanted to convert his father, the lawyer, from an atheist to theist, a believer in God. 

So, with this goal in mind, the little boy painted a beautiful picture.  When his father, the lawyer, saw the picture he was very happy. 

He told the boy, ‘Son, this is wonderful!  This picture you have painted is so beautiful!  Great job!’

The son replied, “I didn’t do it!’

The father asks him, ‘Then who made it?’

The son replies, ‘It is natural!  It happened by itself!’ 

The lawyer-father argues, ‘How can it be natural?  How can it happen by itself?’

Quick as a flash the son replies, ‘Father, you say that everything in this world is natural!  You say that the world was not created by anybody, it happened by itself, it happened naturally, as a natural phenomenon.  Same way, this picture is also natural!  It happened naturally by itself!  The paper came from somewhere by itself naturally.  The pen came from somewhere by itself naturally.  And the picture got painted by itself naturally!’

The father got angry and shouted, ‘Are you taking me for a fool?  Without a painter, there can be no painting!’

The son calmly replied, ‘Okay, father.  If to create this small picture, somebody is required, then to create this great, vast picture – the world – is somebody not required, is a creator not required?  Like mother says, to create this world, you need somebody called God!’

The lawyer was thus taught a beautiful lesson by his son.

See, this Ganga, the river Ganga is coming from Gomukh.  But it finally rests in peace only when it reaches its destination, the Ocean.  Same way, our destination is God.  Till we reach God, we will not experience peace. 

This Ganga, the river Ganga, it removes our sins!  It has the power to remove our sins!

People ask many times, ‘What will we get from the Ganga?’

The answer is, ‘Ganga removes our sins.’

In London, there is a river called the “Thames River”.  A child told me, ‘Don’t touch the water of this river.  If you touch it, you will get infection.’

I asked him, ‘Do you know in Haridwar there is a river called the Ganga?

The child said, ‘Yes, yes, I have gone there.’

I asked, ‘Do you know what happens when you touch the waters of the Ganga, or have bath in the Ganga?  All your infections will go away, will be removed!’

This is the greatness of the Ganga!  Just looking at the Ganga you get mukthi – liberation!  Then imagine what will happen if you get into the Ganga and have a bath!  All of you are fortunate that you are here now in Haridwar on the banks of the Ganga with your Sadguru, Swami Nithyanandaji. 

The third thing which is scarce in this world, which is difficult to obtain in this world, is: the company of great saints, the association of great saints, Mahapurushas. 

People say the most valuable thing in the world is “Time”.  In English they say, “Time is Money”.  Once it goes away, it doesn’t come back.  None of us knows how much time we have in this world.  Whatever has gone has gone forever.  Whether we use it or misuse it is in our hands.  A knife in a dacoit’s hands takes away life.  The same knife in a surgeon’s hands gives life.  The knife can be MISUSED, put to the wrong use like the dacoit does, or it can be USED, put to the right use like the surgeon does.  Same way, some people MISUSE time (utilize it for the wrong purpose, waste it).  But some people USE time (utilize it for a good purpose); they seek the association of saints and sadhus, they come to the feet of a Mahapurusha, Guru.  So, all of you here are USING time very well, for the right purpose (by coming to Swam Nithyanandaji and spending your time with him). 

Sometime back also, Swamiji Nithyanandaji came here to Haridwar.  Swami Turiyananda had phoned me many times.  But I was away in Gujarat then. 

The only way to overcome the disturbances, the fears, the chaos in this world is to be in the presence, in the company of a Mahapurusha like Swamiji Nithyananda.  In the Shrimad Bhagavatham it says, Maharaja Yadu, the ancestor of Sri Krishna, he was roaming in the forest.  He saw a great saint sitting under a tree.  It was a very huge tree, like your banyan tree in Bidadi....like your Kalpataru in Bidadi. 

In heaven also there is a Kalpataru.  It is said that if anybody goes to heaven with his good karmas, his good deeds, he gets to sit under that Kalpataru tree in heaven and all his wishes get fulfilled. 

Once a person got to sit under that Kalpataru tree.  While sitting under that tree, he felt a desire for food, and immediately the food appeared in front of him.  It was a wish-fulfilling tree, you see! 

After eating, he felt sleepy, and he felt the desire to have a bed to sleep.  Immediately a bed appeared from nowhere and his wish was fulfilled! 

He then thought, ‘This is a very good place.  There will be apsaras (beautiful heavenly damsels) also here.  How nice if I can have their company!’  Immediately, to his astonishment, a bevy of beauties appeared in front of him and started entertaining him. 

Suddenly a thought flashed in his mind, ‘Oh God, what if my wife sees me here?  What will happen?’  Poor fellow, to his shock, his wife immediately appeared there out of thin air and started beating him black and blue!  

While he was being thrashed by his wife, the sage Narada happened to pass by.  Narada is a great saint.  All saints guide people.  Narada is also a saint. 

So, this guy, seeing Narada, rushed towards him and fell at his feet and cried, ‘Maharaj, please guide me, please save me from this situation!’

Narada with a smile replied, ‘Son, remember, at least when you sit under the Kalpataru, have good thoughts only.  Then only good things will happen to you!’ 

Swami Nithyanandaji is also a Kalpataru!

Saints and Mahapurushas are “marga darshis” (“marga darshi” means, one who shows the path).  They show you the path. 

Swamiji Nithyanandaji has invited me here today.  I thank him with all my heart for giving me this opportunity.

A king once came to Dattatreya Maharaj and said, ‘You look so happy and blissful!  I am a king and I have everything in the world; but still I don’t have peace of mind.  But you don’t seem to have anything, you don’t seem to any possessions with you, but still you are so blissful!’

Dattatreya Maharaj said, ‘Whatever I have is inside me.  That is the real wealth.  That is why I am always in bliss!’

All of you are here today in Haridwar.  Just like Delhi is the capital of India, Haridwar is the spiritual capital of the world.  All the great Mahapurushas converge in Haridwar.  This city is the spiritual city of the world, the spiritual capital of the world.  You are all blessed that you are here in this spiritual capital of the world at the feet of a Mahapurusha, Swamiji Nithyananda!

So nice that Swamiji Atmanandaji came and really blessed us and graced us!  And on behalf of me, Dhyanapeetam, and Nithyananda Sangha all over the world, we thank Swamiji Atmananda Maharaj, Mahamandaleshwar of Mahanirvani Peetha.  We thank Swamiji. 

And I request Turiyananda to give the translation for the convenience of the international ashrams and centres.  After the translation I will continue the Kalpataru process.

So, now it is time.  Today we had a nice message from Swami Atmanandaji.  And now we will continue with the Kalpataru process. 

The cities which have gathered for Kalpataru Darshan – Annanagar Chennai and anywhere else – please pick up your paper and pen.  Pen down one thought you want to cause as reality, and all the incompletions, doubts, fears you have around that thought.  Please start penning down.

Sit straight.  Close your eyes.  Sit and create the space for what you want to cause as reality.  Complete all incompletions and drop it.  Sit and create the space for what you want to cause as reality.  See what you want to cause as reality is already real.  Hold on to the space by completing and dropping all the incompletions.  Namah Shivaya!

Relax!  I bless you all!  The space you created, let it become reality.  The visualization you created, let it become reality. 

Now we will have Kalpataru Darshan for all the participants who have gathered in Haridwar.  Then I will come back and give darshan to participants from Annanagar-Chennai.  Now all the participants who have come just for Kalpataru Darshan in Haridwar, please come.
